Job Title: In-School Boxing Coach

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced In-School Boxing Coach to join our team at Ring of Hope Corporation. As a non-profit organization with a mission to impact the next generation of youth through sports-focused mentorship programs, we are looking for a highly skilled individual who can inspire and guide young athletes in their boxing journey.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct boxing classes for K-12 youth in a school setting.

• Provide expert coaching, instruction, and guidance to enhance boxing skills and technique.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions.

• Maintain accurate attendance records and track the progress of individual athletes.

• Capture high-quality content (photos and videos) for promotional purposes in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.

• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other staff members.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

• Background in boxing with a strong understanding of boxing techniques and training methods.

• Competitive boxing experience is preferred.

• USA Boxing Coach Certification required (certification cost covered).

• SafeSport Certification required (certification cost covered).

• Reliable transportation to travel to the designated location.

• Availability during after-school hours (specific timings to be discussed).

• Availability during school hours is a plus.

• Experience working with kids, providing mentorship, and fostering a positive learning environment is a plus.

• Strong communication skills, punctuality, and professionalism.

• COVID-19 vaccination may be required depending on assigned location/school requirements. Please be prepared to adhere to any applicable regulations or guidelines related to COVID-19 safety protocols.

• A background check (clear background) may be required depending on the assigned location or specific school district policies. Please be prepared to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.

• Applicants must comply with the rules and regulations of the New York City Department of Education (DOE) and adhere to any additional requirements set forth by the assigned school or educational institution.
