Job Title: Cultural Exchange Coach

Position Type: Contract

Location: USA (and international travel)

Requirements:

  • USA Boxing Coach Certification required (certification cost covered).

  • SafeSport Certification required (certification cost covered).

  • Experience working with kids, preferred.

  • Experience conducting group classes is required.

  • Experience in other martial arts apart from boxing is a plus.

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.

  • Strong public speaking skills are a plus.

  • Inspiring social media presence, preferred.

  • Must have a valid passport.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate cultural exchange programs, teaching boxing and/or martial arts to participants.

  • Deliver introductions about yourself and motivational talks prior to class to inspire and motivate participants.

  • Demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills.

  • Conduct group classes, providing instruction, guidance, and mentorship to participants.

  • Ensure participant safety and well-being during the program.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Conduct Q&A sessions with participants to address their questions, provide guidance, and foster meaningful discussions.

  • Engage with participants after sessions by taking photos, exchanging contact information, signing autographs, and creating opportunities for personal connections.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of boxing history and the ability to teach participants about the sport's rich heritage.

  • Show willingness to teach aspects of culture, language, and share cultural experiences.

  • Embrace a genuine curiosity and openness to learn about diverse cultures, demonstrating respect and adherence to cultural norms.

  • Capture high-quality content (photos and videos) for promotional purposes in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.

  • Collaborate with the Ring of Hope team to ensure program objectives are met.

  • Demonstrate role model capabilities and a strong commitment to continuing impact on youth through positive engagement on social media or ongoing positive communication with youth.

  • Showcase readiness and preparedness for interviews with esteemed US embassy partners, exuding professionalism and delivering compelling insights about the cultural exchange program's profound impact on youth empowerment. Your engaging presence and ability to articulate the program's significance will leave a lasting impression on stakeholders and foster meaningful collaborations.
